About La Azotea
Since 2012, in the heart of Buenos Aires Province.
La Azotea is the feedyard operation of Agropecuaria Campo Alto. We finish cattle from our own production system, source cattle for our feeding programs, and provide custom cattle feeding services for third-party owners. Every lot is managed according to its origin, entry weight, health status and production objective, with close attention to nutrition, feed efficiency, weight gain and animal welfare.
Today, La Azotea combines hands-on cattle experience with professional feedyard management, focusing on consistent performance, clear information and careful management of every lot.
What we do
From arrival through finishing, we combine nutrition, cattle handling, animal health and technology to help every lot reach its productive potential.
We finish our own cattle and provide custom cattle feeding for third-party owners, managing each lot through a professional system of feeding, handling and performance monitoring.
Balanced rations for each stage of the feeding cycle, formulated to support consistent intake, feed efficiency and cattle performance.
Health assessment and monitoring begin at receiving, with protocols adapted to the specific needs of each lot.
Every lot and pen is individually identified and monitored, with information on feed intake, weight gain and performance throughout the feeding cycle.
Daily observation, appropriate facilities and low-stress handling protocols support both cattle welfare and productive performance.
Being part of Agropecuaria Campo Alto gives La Azotea direct access to crop production, grain supply and an integrated production and logistics structure.
How we work
From pre-entry planning through cattle finishing.
Before cattle arrive, we review their origin, type, weight and production objective to define the appropriate feeding and management program.
Cattle are received, identified and evaluated upon arrival, with an initial health assessment and entry records.
Cattle transition gradually onto higher-energy rations, with close monitoring of intake, health and adaptation.
Balanced rations and daily monitoring of each lot's progress until it reaches its production targets.
As cattle become market-ready, they are evaluated and sorted into uniform groups according to weight, condition and market requirements, and then dispatched.
